copper prices

Well, i'm wondering if there is a way that this site can allow people from certain areas around the country to input their prices for a few select commodities, such as copper 1 and 2, and aluminum and ...? Being a commodity, i know it will fluctuate day-to-day, and wonder if there is a way to track what it was and what prices are available. This may help us "negotiate" a better price from a yard. My opinion is that all the yards get the same basic commodity price and adjust their rates accordingly. But i've found a big difference just in the yards closest to me...sometimes 10-20% different. Anyway, if you could get people from major metro areas (i'm in Atlanta area) to update prices periodically maybe it will help? or maybe its too much to keep up with, i dont know. just a thought.
