Tanning Beds

Hi,I see a tanning bed for free on Craigslist today.Are they worth picking up ?It seems there may be hazardous waste involved with the bulbs and maybe the ballasts.And a lot of glass to dispose of.Any thoughts would be appreciated.Thanks

I would just get it, and see what happens! My scrap yard tends to be pretty easy going when it comes to what they will and won't buy as mixed-metal. Don't be worried about the ballasts, they are probably ok.

If they are anything like in the fluorescent light fixtures I wouldn't worry about them. My yard takes those, so I'll grab them when I see them.
